Catching Up: Chinese New Year and Easter Celebrations

Once again we were invited to celebrate the Chinese New Year- yes quite a while ago! I took a photo of the menu but this is the only photo I took during the event. Ooops! I confess, I am not a huge fan of abalone though I know many folks just love it. But all was not lost- there was other seafood on the menu in addition to the abalone.

Remember Easter? Several of the malls here were decorated for the holiday. B caught a rear shot of this man-sized bunny walking the mall as we had lunch one day just before Easter.

 Interestingly, cows featured prominently in this Easter display.

 And there were eggs and bunnies!
